Tradition Tuesday: Wedding Send Offs

The "I-Dos" have been exchanged, the cake has been cut, memories have been made dancing the night away, and now it is time for the wedding to end and to start the next chapter with your best friend. The wedding exit and send-off dates back to ancient roman times when guests would throw grains to signify fertility (for their crops and the couple).

Today wedding send-offs are much more grand and the perfect way for a couple to add a personal touch to their wedding day and get the best "dip & kiss" picture. Not sure how you want to be sent off into married life? Below are a few of my favorite options, but make sure to check with your venue before picking your send-off. Many venues have restrictions on what can and cannot be used.

1. Second-Line:

2. Sparklers:

3. Rose Petals:

4. Bubbles:

5. Cheer Pom-Poms

6. Wedding Wands:

7. Confetti:

8. Streamers:

9. Flags:

10. Glow Sticks:

11. Lavender:

12. Leaves:

13: Tamborines:

14. Snow:

15. Balloons:

As you can see there are so many options that make the perfect picture and sweet send-off into married life. Which one is your favorite? Or do you have an idea for an exit? Email: I love hearing new ideas!
